Martian crater with bright ice patch spotted from orbit

The Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) captured imagery of a crater on Mars that has a bright patch of ice. It's the second time in over a decade that the crater and ice has been observed by MRO. Credit: NASA/JPL/University of Arizona
