We have a very special video lined up for you – called - ‘Most Protected People in the World’! 10 Pope Francis So up first on today’s list we have someone that – to most people – won’t be much of a surprise at all when it comes to expecting some of the highest security details found anywhere in the world – and of course we’re leading off with Pope Francis. The leader of the Catholic church has a private army – of sorts – at his and other high-ranking catholic officials’ right hand. Not only that, but this group – called the Pontifical Swiss Guards have our primary responsibilities – including accompanying the Pope on all of his travels and guarding the entrances of the Vatican City. And while their armor looks a bit – dated, if you will – you should not take any of these men lightly – as they have been plucked from the best of the best when it comes to military background and training – and have the ability to use multiple weapons with deadly force, both of the ancient and modern variety. 9 The President of China So up next we have the leader of the most populous country in the world – Xi Jinping, who not only is the president of China – but also the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China and the Chairman of the Central Military Commission - *whispers* I have no idea what he does for those other two job titles, but I can tell you that they’re pretty darn important. Anyway, Xi Jinping faces the threat of assassination everyday simply because of the sheer importance of all three of his positions – long story short, he’s got a lot of people that could potentially benefit if Xi was replaced. Never walking without Central Security Bureau of the Communist Party of China – although their details – including the private security detail for the Chinese President himself – are all high classified. You won’t find out much about them on Google. 8 The Zombie Bunker So, we’ll take a quick break from the high-profile people with extensive security to a house out in Poland that is designed to defend it’s occupants from the most dire of circumstances. It’s called the Safe House – and check this out – it’s sole purpose is to protect from zombie invasions! Yeah, zombies! It was designed by Robert Konieczny. The walls are made of movable concrete that are controlled by remote! So, if you’re in Poland when the Walking Dead actually starts – then you have a pretty cool place you can go! 7 Meghan Markle and Prince Harry As we get back to the next high-profile people that need really, really intense security – up next we have one of the most prolific couples in the world – Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Apart from the obvious reasons of why members of the Royal Family would be highly protected – you know, they are the most important family in all of Britain – you also have to consider how much money is actually invested in these two people. For instance, their wedding cost a whopping $46M! To date, public records indicate that over $8M has been used just on personal security, with another $5M or so dedicated to local police – in order to provide their overtime, pay.
