Incredibly excited, the archaeologists carefully ventured into the unknown depths of the Egyptian construction. The majority of ancient Egyptian murals have faded over time, due to exposure to the elements, as well as degrading from tourism and the flash photography that accompanies it. However, this tomb’s walls had been untouched by man or nature for hundreds of years, and the bright colors shone vibrantly, depicting the life and journey into the afterlife of the soul who resided within those walls.
