Boeing Successful Starliner propulsion test

On May 23rd Boeing carried out tests on the propulsion system of it's CST-100 Starliner. This is the commercial crew vehicle that it will use to take astronauts to the ISS in the future. These successful tests comes after the engines encountered an anomaly in the last test when valves failed to close properly, causing the hypergolic propellant to leak. Boeing said, "“With the safety of our astronauts at the forefront of all we do, this successful testing proves this system will work correctly and keep Starliner and the crew safe through all phases of flight,” The next step for Boeing and Starliner will be a pad orbit test later in the summer and, if the successful and uncrewed launch of Starliner sometime in mid to late August, followed by a crewed test flight late this year.
