Dunkleosteus Long before the age of the dinosaurs, and even before gigantic sharks roamed the seas, there was the Dunkleosteus. This fish was one of the last arthrodires which meant they had thick, bony plates covering their skull. This fish was so strong it may have had a bite that was more powerful than anything else on Earth, both before or since. 8.
