One of the scariest places anywhere, is the basement, and that’s why today’s episode is titled – Creepiest Things Ever Found in Basements! 10 The Ghost So, before we kick things off I just want to ask you – how many of you out there have even truly been scared of your basement? No, I mean really, really scared? I remember when I was a kid – that scene in Home Alone where Kevin had to go down in the basement in the beginning of the flick… do you remember that? Haha, yeah – that’s pretty much how I felt every single time I went downstairs as a kid! Haha, anyway – check out our first clip. This footage comes from back in 2013, where right around Halloween a man filmed this right before calling 911 because of what he found. Check it out. After hearing strange noises coming from downstairs he grabbed his video camera and started recording. As he passes through, he doesn’t see anything out of the ordinary… 9 Random Dude So, let’s dive into the next clip – which I gotta say is a pretty remarkable, albeit slightly scary dilemma! Some students who attended the Ohio State University were living off campus and started to notice that every so often their cabinets and microwave doors would be left open. So naturally they assumed they had a ghost, which, to be honest – that would’ve been my first guess. Haha anyway – the students decided to search the house – and what they found was pretty surprising. No, it wasn’t a ghost. What they did find though was that down two flights of stairs, there was a locked door. After finally figuring a way to get inside of it they discovered a fully furnished bedroom of the man who had been living in the house the entire time! 8 The Mystery Pet So while half of us associate the basement with the scariest place in the house – there’s another half of people who consider the attic as the real scary section of your home. Well check this out. This – uh, pet, I guess – was found in the attic of a 3-story mansion during a home inspection. What in the heck do you think that could be? Along with this apparent animal skull was accompanied by about 2 feet of skin, but there were no limbs of any kind to be seen. Creepy, right? To this day, no one knows what that animal was. What do you think it could be? 7 1984 So let’s keep things moving right along into the next clip – where this time we have something a tad bit less creepy. We’ll actually be taking a look at a time capsule of sorts with this next find. We’re in Huntsville, Alabama – when an employee stumbled upon a box with a false back in the basement of a wine cellar. When the box was retrieved and opened up, they discovered that it was filled with election materials from 1984! I know, maybe not the most exciting find haha, but I do think it’s cool that through everything that this building had been through in it’s existence – it has been around since the 1800s, to be exact – that a box full of government materials that one would assume would be important is just left there for over 30 years! 6 Baby Jars 5 ?? 4 ?? 3 ?? 2 ?? 1 ??
