This Man Finds The GREATEST Treasure By Accident... Description: We often hear of buried treasures in old stories of pirates and kings, right? Let’s get rollin! 10 Now That’s Well Preserved We’ll be all over the place today folks, so buckle upt! It’s gonna be a wild ride! Ok we’ll kick things off with a strange one. In the 1950s one of the most well preserved ancient humans ever found was discovered. The Graubelle Man was found in Jutland, Denmark. The quote ‘bog body’ was so well preserved that it’s reddish brown hair appeared to be perfectly intact! Do you understand just how amazing that is, considering that body is over 1700 years old! The preserved body appeared to have smooth hands, which experts have attributed to this person possible having a relatively relaxed life with little hard labor – and it also looked to have possibly suffered from ancient disease. Do you understand how truly remarkable it is to find an actual person this good looking, after all these years! It makes me wonder, when I’m gone from this world 9 Roman Dodecahedrons OK let’s keep things moving, and up next we have a big word that’s very hard to pronounce. Roman Dodecahedrons – did I get it? - were created all the way back in the 2nd and 3rd centuries, however, nobody really knows why there were made. Only found in Northeastern Europe throughout history, the odd thing is that there is no known historical record of these strange shapes. They come equipped with strange symbols that help put them in their respective era, but of the over 100 objects that have been found here, no one knows why they’re even here. One things for sure, that name is very hard to pronounce. Anyway the very first dodecahedrons were uncovered all the way back in the year 1739… now that’s old. Since that time over 100 more have been discovered, but again – it’s very mysterious that, to this day, nobody really has an understanding of why they were made or what purpose they served. 8 The Lion Headed Goddesses Just recently in Egypt a major discovery – one for the ages – was uncovered. More than 60 statues of a lion headed goddess were found, and scientists are archeologists both believe that there were found in an area meant to protect a former King, named Amenhotep III, once he passed away. This king was considered to be the protector of the sun god, and was considered to be a very powerful deity. But what’s most remarkable about this discovery is that the temple- which dates back more than 3000 years, was destroyed at some point, likely because of earthquakes. But the statues all remained intact. How do you think that’s possible? Were they just sat in a particular area known to be the most secure against attacks? Or, were they purposefully placed there in order to preserve the very important artifacts? 7 Blue Babe the Frozen Animal Let’s keep this train moving along it’s tracks with another discovery – but this one dating back a very, very, VERY long time. Check this out. So all the way back in 1979, just north of Fairbanks in Alaska, this mummified remains of a male step bison was discovered. The name Blue Babe was assigned as the finder named it after a mythical blue ox. Now the special thing about this discovery was that this animal was estimated to be over 36 thousand years old. You want to hear something even crazier? One of the scientists actually removed some of the meat from the animals neck, put it in a stew and ate it! Talk about the opposite of fast food! Can you imagine what went on during the time since this animal actually passed away? I mean think about – 36,000 years is nothing to turn your nose up at!
