Outriders is an upcoming third-person shooter developed by People Can Fly and published by Square Enix. It is set to be released on February 2, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S. It will also release on Stadia later in 2021. Outriders is a third-person shooter mixed with elements from role-playing games. In the beginning of the game, players create their custom characters and choose from four classes, each of them has unique abilities that the players can utilize. The four classes include Trickster, which has the ability to manipulate time, the Pyromancer, which can manipulate fire, the Devastator, which can unleash seismic attacks, and the Technomancer. These special skills have a short cooldown time and can be combined with other skills for maximum effects. The game features a skill tree that allows players to unlock and upgrade their skills. Players can use different weapons such as shotguns and assault rifles to defeat enemies, and firearms can be customized with weapon mods. Players can hide behind cover to shield themselves from enemy attacks, though health will only regenerate if the player manages to hurt or kill enemies. Players combat both monsters and human enemies. As the player progresses, the world level (the game's equivalent to gameplay difficulty) will increase. On Dec. 27, 1984, a Mars meteorite was found in Antarctica. -- ‘On This Day in Space’ Video Series on Space.com: https://www.space.com/39251-on-this-day-in-space.html The meteorite, known as Allan Hills 84001, was found in Allan Hills, which is a group of hills in Antarctica. It was found by an American team of meteorite hunters from a National Science Foundation program called ANSMET, which stands for the Antarctic Search for Meteorites. Weighing in at just over 4 lbs., this space rock is considered to be one of the oldest Martian meteorites ever found on Earth. Scientists estimate that it crystallized from molten rock more than 4 billion years ago, when Mars still had liquid water on its surface. Scientists determined that the meteorite probably came from an area called Valles Marineris. To figure that out, they compared spacecraft data on the chemical composition of Mars with the chemical composition of the meteorite. Scientists think that the meteorite was ejected into space when Mars got hit by a meteor about 17 million years ago, and that it hit the Earth about 13,000 years ago.

On Dec. 26, 1974, Salyut 4, a Soviet space station, launched into orbit around Earth. -- ‘On This Day in Space’ Video Series on Space.com: https://www.space.com/39251-on-this-day-in-space.html Salyut 4 was a small space station about the size of a school bus. It was almost identical to its sibling space station DOS 3, which failed to make it to orbit. Salyut 4 launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan and entered an orbit 217 miles above the Earth. Three cosmonaut crews attempted to stay aboard Salyut 4, but they didn't all make it there successfully. The first mission, Soyuz 17, arrived about two weeks after Salyut 4 launched. The first two cosmonauts to visit Salyut 4 spent 29 days on board. A couple months later, a second Soyuz crew (18) launched to the space station, but they never made it there. The spacecraft failed to reach orbit, but luckily the crew survived. Just seven weeks later, a third crew (19) successfully launched to Salyut 4, and they ended up staying for 63 days. After they left, Salyut 4 stayed in orbit for another year and a half before it deorbited and burned up in Earth's atmosphere.
