In the spring of 2018 this crazy footage was captured – and for the life of me, we can’t figure out exactly what’s going on here – so maybe you all could help us out. Check it out. What – the heck – is that!? This monstrous, humungous creature – that appears to be shaped like some sort of massive bug – is stampeding through the open country. Sick, right? Now this almost looks like it could be something from one of those crazy science fiction movies, like War of the Worlds – or perhaps even something else – but there’s one thing that isn’t left up for discussion – this looks nuts! But, is it real? 9 The Ball Lightning Mystery One of the most mysterious weather phenomena of all time – and one that doesn’t get nearly as much attention as it probably deserves – is something called ‘Ball Lightning’. This action – that many have considered to be a paranormal event – has stumped scientists and researchers alike for hundreds of years. There are several different documented occurrences of this weird weather event, yet known has helped anyone explain any further as to why they actually happen! In 1984 there’s a story of ball lightning that measured up to about 4 inches in diameter entering a small Russian airplane. According to the pilots of the plane, two small holes were left there after it departed. The weirdest part of this natural phenomena – according to the few people who’ve managed to study them – is that the ball lightning seemingly has the ability to move around on it’s own. 8 Falling Cloud So, this next clip is pretty weird, and I’m not sure it’ll tell the tale of the end of the world – but it is pretty crazy to look at, nonetheless. Check it out. This video was posted online several years ago, and it displays something that you just don’t plain see every day. This cloud that has broken away from his cloud family members up high in the sky, has come down to land in the most peculiar video. Just before the cloud hits the ground, it breaks into two pieces! What the heck – have you ever seen anything like this before? It then appears to bounce off of the ground flip 90 degrees and then just stand there near the gate. 7 Fireballs OK let’s check out this next clip that features some fireballs. Yep, you heard that right. Fireballs! So we’re in Canada and what you’re seeing are some kind of strange balls of fire that are flying across the screen! Now the crazy thing is that this video is not doctored in any way. This gigantic flame was seen by hundreds of people and appears to just march in whatever direction it wants to. It clearly appears to be something not normally seen here on our planet, but, the real tough question here is what could it actually be? Is it part of some type of alien conspiracy – or maybe it’s attached to a secret weapon that some advanced military out there was trying to keep to themselves. Well, sort of. The planet’s version of “snow” is a shimmery dust made of heavy metals and minerals. During the month of July, Venus peaks at a temperature of around 900 degrees Fahrenheit (482 C) and the atmosphere is dry. 6. SATURN’S ICY MOON Enceladus is one of Saturn’s moons. It’s also one of the brightest moons in our Solar System, because it’s covered in freshwater ice, which reflects sunlight. Scientists are still learning about Enceladus and about Saturn. Astronomer William Herschel discovered the glowing moon,which measures 500 kilometers in diameter, in 1789. However, until the two Voyager missions flew past it during the 1980’s, relatively little was known about it. 5. APOCALYPTIC GLASS STORMS Unlike the other places on this list, it’s highly unlikely that scientists will ever send a spacecraft to this planet to collect data on its weather phenomena. The planet, simply titled HD 189733b, is located 63 light years away from Earth, and it would take a spacecraft centuries to get there. 4. BIPOLAR WEATHER ON MARS With no thermal blanket and an atmosphere 100 times thinner than that of Earth, Mars hosts one of the most inhospitable climates in our Solar System. These conditions render the planet incapable of retaining heat energy, resulting in shockingly cold weather and drastic fluctuations in temperatures between night and day, as well as from one season to the next. 3. IO’S MISPLACED VOLCANOES Hundreds of active volcanoes dot the landscape of Io, one of Jupiter’s many moons, making it the most volcanically active place in the Solar System. Some of the lava fountains from these highly-active volcanoes up to 250 miles into the sky. 2. 21-YEAR SEASONS ON URANUS Uranus holds the distinction of being the coldest planet in the Solar System, with temperatures dropping as low as minus 371 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s also unique because its spin axis is tilted by 98 degrees, meaning it spins entirely on its side. As a result, the planet’s poles do not align with its magnetic field. 1. GREEN RAIN In 2011, NASA announced that a bizarre green rainshower had been observed over a burgeoning star called HOPS-68 some 1,350 light years away using their Spitzer Space Telescope. The crystal droplets were a mineral called olivine, which is often used here on Earth to make jewelry, and it was the first time they were observed in the collapsing clouds of dust that surround forming stars. A huge UFO in the clouds hides over Ottawa, Canada! The location is a forested area in Ontario but you can see all the lights on the ground and all the flying jets and planes around. You can see the size difference of the UFO compared to the helicopter that just shows as a small light above it but when I recorded it you could see it was very much a helicopter. This is the UFO that is in the other video after filming it lost and confused for hours. In January of 2018 a group of archaeologists who study glaciers recovered over 2000 different artifacts from the edges of one of Norway’s glacier, and in this massive discovery scientists are able to gain a better understanding of the ancient mountain populations in Norway. As part of the Glacier Arcaeology Program that started back in 2011, multiple objects – into the thousands, and dating as far back as 4000 BC, have been found. Including wooden skis, bronze errors, swords, clothing and even pack horses. And that’s saying something, considering I see at least 10 crazy stories a day! Haha, anyway – check this out. In April of 2017 a guy named Matthew Bennett was doing some digging around on a white salt flat in New Mexico, looking for fossilized footprints. When he found them, he was shocked – because he noticed something that he certainly wasn’t looking for. Check this out. He found a series of footprints from a a ground sloth – which is a big, bulky animal – who have large feet and curved claws. It’s what he discovered inside of the sloth though, that took him aback. There was a set of human footprints nestled directly in the footprint of the sloth. What does this mean? Well, it’s hard to say since this happened at minimum 11,000 years ago. 8 The New Way to See Up next is a recent scientific discovery that could soon change the way we all see. Check this out. It’s tentatively called a ‘bionic lens’, and experts say that when it’s worn it gives a person greater than 20/20 vision. Pretty cool, right? Well, that’s not all. Users who’ve already worn the lens for a short while have even said that this has given their sight an entirely new spectrum of colors that simply are seeable without this aid. How cool is that? It’s exciting to hear stories like this, when we begin to consider that the future may be a bit more – dare I say – futuristic than we may have previously understood. Super sight? Also, when they say, brand new colors – I don’t know how I feel about that because, well because I feel like colors have been around forever. 7 Big Cat Hey, how are things going so far? Watch as this absolutely monstrous wildcat – which is estimated to be 4 feet long – climbs down this log. Kev Bell, one of the field workers on the project, stated that he’s seen between 10 and 15 of those cats – called the Clashindarroch Beast – during the course of his observations.
